I linked the post I made to your question that was from a day or so ago.
The car with the 45 series is not my car just to let you know.
The car with the 55 series ES100 tires had a highly modified suspension. The combination of Konis, Brad's adjustable springs, poly bushings in the right places, and the rear axle relocate kit made the car ride really well. Held well during high speed corners at full power. While other cars were drifting or sliding off line, I could hold the inside line and pull away. I loved that setup. The 55 series tires act also as shock absorbers unlike the 45 series that have a rough ride. Konis are the bomb too -- they made a big difference, and the first thing I did to the suspension. Then just kept after it until the the suspension could take 100% engine power, then made more engine power until it overtook the suspension, and then went back and made the suspension better, then the engine......vicious vicious circle......
