Those are not necessarily 900 doors with the integrated mirrors. Saab kept the 99 in production through MY 1985, and then created the "90" by attaching a 900 sedan trunk to a 99. In any case, Saab updated the mirrors on production 99s same as they did with the 900. The only thing the 99s didn't get were power versions of those mirrors, AFAIK.
Also, the doors are a simple bolt-up. I did the same with my 1980 99 2-door. Toughest part was finding a C900 in a yard that had MANUAL mirrors!
