You should measure your "baseboost" to see if it hasn't creeped back to 3 psi. If so, you'll never get full charge pressure. Adjust the wastegate actuator for 5-6 PSI. with the boost solenoid disconnected.
Vacuum gauge from Sears that measures up to 10 PSI positive pressure is a good choice then you can read what you are doing and also check the vacuum /negative pressure to see how well the engine is pulling.
