CHANGE ALL VACUUM LINES and inspect all of the T-fittings & intake manifold grommets well for cracks. Vacuum line is dirt cheap, easy to replace, and should be gone through occasionally anyhow. That's a very easy phase 1.
Something else to check....if your car still won't start, crack open the banjo bolt on the frot-side of the fuel rail and see if you get a "PSSSSHH!!" of fuel to come out. Place a rag there, and just crack it open; 17mm wrench I believe.
If you do....let the fuel drain, and tighten it back up, then try to start the car again. If unsuccessful, open that banjo bolt again and if you get no pressurized fuel....your pump isn't running for whatever reason.
If you do....that means you've got fuel, you've got air, and are missing ignition. Whether its distributor ignition, or ECU ignition....you can diagnose that later.
1) CHANGE ALL VACUUM LINES.
2) Verify fuel.
Go from there...
