First - you don't seem to have given the year of your 900S - the '90 and up seem to have a common problem in my opinion. I prefer the R12, and most agree it cools better. It is available in my favorite radiator shop for $65 a pound (it would take 2 to completely fill). If you have difficulty finding it, try a RADIATOR SHOP - they usually know what they're doing on A/C, and most likely have R12. So - R12. My '90 SPG was repaired, serviced with R12 in 2003, and still works nicely. I think if I converted to R134, the much smaller molecules would have escaped thru the hoses by this time. My $ .02 worth (worth about $ .01 due to inflation). Vern
