Good detail on fuel pump operation. Here it is about 20 hours later. I go to my driveway where I had AAA drop 88 SPG. I look inside, notice pass seat wet. Turns out to be a balled up gum wrapper in r side roof drain opening. Wet vac carpet, vac roof track area. Hey lets try to start car. Yes as in the past after sitting the car started . took 2-3 revolutions of engine instaed of one, but the fuel obviously got to the rail quickly so it's not the fuel pressure check valve. I will go through the system as suggested, but it will be days and many starts before the same symptom occurs. I have a half dozen spark magnifiers. Think I'll just try replacing next time I get a repeat of issue. Also I will print and carry your reply in glove box
