like the rear main seal at clutch end or front main seal behind the harmonic balancer? possibly the oil pump o-ring/seal has failed or cracked and it's leaking from there?
a loose or cross-threaded oil drain bolt/plug maybe? a possilbe crack in the crankcase (we'll hope not on that one)? leaking steering rack/hoses/pump that looks like motor oil but isn't?
maybe just a couple of things you could look at before doing the engine pull/clutch job if it's seeming overwhelming at the moment.
on the plus side, as you said, it will be easy to fix all that stuff if the engine is out, and replace alternator bushings, and replace rack, and and and....
