The bleeder screw does pass fluid when it is not fully seated and seals when seated. So, I guess that idea was nothing but a futile search for something else to replace. Question: when bleeder open and pedal pressed, the fluid in the clear tube on slave bleeder rises and lowers when clutch is pressed and released. When the bleeder is closed, then the pedal pressed and held, and then bleeder opened, the fluid in the clear tube does not move. Does that make sense? Also when the reservoir is full and (I'm guessing) 10-20 PSI pressure applied to reservoir...nothing comes out of the open slave bleeder (done with the clutch pedal unmolested or depressed to varying degrees). Reverse bleeding gives the same result regardless of weather the clutch pedal is depressed or extended. Any ideas?
