Who's going to make the rubber bits? Posted by ChrisMiami [Email] ![]() ![]() In Reply to: New best parts supplier? Junkyard., RayF, Sun, 24 Jul 2011 15:35:04 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I keep thinking - some parts are usable used, others get used up and need to be put in new. All the rubber around the doors, convertible top, trunk, etc.
For a Corvette, you have several GM original books available, including the complete factory build assembly manual in paper and pdf, for the saab all we have is bentley.
How many people know there's a piece of rubber that goes between the intercooler and the left headlight? How many shops sell it?
I'm just saying - if our Saabs are going to survive, we need an aftermarket! How do we get one?
Heck, if I could get the molds, I'd make and sell the rubber stuff for cost just so people could get it. I tried to get information on the manufacture of the wrap-around spoiler from both Saab-Scania and the saab museum but they stopped returning my emails.
Am I crazy?
