87 and 86? why?

Jeff,
have a look at the diagram below, the ABS pump relay is part #293.
As you may see you should do the jump-test at pins 30 and 87!
Nevertheless, here's a quick how-to guide:
- do the jump-test at pins 30 and 87. If it's on with the jump-wire, then the relay may be bad. If it doesn't turn on with the jump-wire, then check whether 12V is present at pin #30. Trace the wires to-from pins #30 and #87, check fuse #1 in the ABS fuse-box
- get yourself two wires and insert them into abs pump relay socket pin holes for pins #85 and #86. Important - fuse #3 will blow out if you shorten these wires to each other so be careful. Then run each of these two wires to pins #85 and #86 at the relay itself. With the ignition turned on (and interim wires at relay pins) check if there's 12V between these pins. If you measure Vbatt at these pins then the relay is bad. Otherwise check if you're missing +12V or the ground: if ground is missing then check ABS ECU, 744A wire, pressure sensor and its connector, 744 wire, 745 wire and ground connection G5 which is under the rear seat; if +12V is missing then check fuse #3 and wire 747A
INHO nothing special, pretty simple.
