yes Justin you are absolutely correct on the sump.. the 9000 pan is already setup pretty well on the baffles, and if I understand the internal issues, it's not the baffling but that the oil is getting thrown to the short side of the pan and stays there long enough to starve the pickup. I know one team that adds an extra quart of oil and that seems to do the trick at Thunderhill. MSR Houston has a longer right hand turn at high speed and that is where the issues is for that team, not sure that a single quart will do it. check this thread on the 9000 board
