Just picked up an 89 SPG in decent shape. Came with the whale tail and only needs a little TLC.
Anyway, the car sat for a couple years and the battery went down. The radio powers up and you can here a pop from the speakers, antenna raises but the screen is blank.
I have the code and I have read several posts, some say you have to wait for 30+ minutes with the radio and ignition on, some say the radio is dead.
Anyone been through this?
And yes I know, get a new radio. I'd like to hold off on that.
