Your guys crack me up! I totally agree! Posted by 900 Aero [Email] (#425) [Profile/Gallery] (more from 900 Aero) on Thu, 17 Nov 2011 19:41:31 In Reply to: nothing, Siegfried, Thu, 17 Nov 2011 17:43:05 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
All of that stage crap really annoys me however on C-900T's some of it was actually my fault! When I had Erik P. come up with a hotter APC we called his original upgrade Stage I and the hotter ones Stage II but then others took it beyond that! About the only stage classes I do agree with other than tuning stages is the different turbine wheels that are available for the old T3 turbos however for the most part even a stage 2 wheel (depending on who's version it is) would drastically increase spool time on our street driven C900T's! As far as a "sporty air filter" I always called the C-900 ones a bunch of hot air and discontinued them unless we could have come up with a way to draw cool air in without cutting the inner fender wells up! If I continue to build custom turbo's when I move to NY this coming September I'm going to come up with a clever way to identify my various versions of Saab turbo's that make sense that isn't annoying! Maybe I'll call the wild and crazy ones like I did for Bryan Sladky "ludicrous" as much time as it took to build! Anyway on most staged performance items I call it BS1, BS2 and BS3!
