My 1990 Turbo Convertible (Auto trans) has been doing this thing on cold start lately where it will only be running on three cylinders at first, and it will very quickly (within 10 or 15 seconds) smooth itself out and become a 4-cyl again, with no prodding from me. I don't touch the gas, I just watch it smooth out.
This is a second car and only gets driven two or three times a week, and it doesn't so it every time, but it is becoming more frequent. Once it has smoothed out it seems to run fine, good power and everything else, although it seems to be burning through this last tank of fuel pretty darn quick.
Any ideas as to what this would be would be much appreciated.
