I'm working through this as well -- a turbo I am waiting on from Aero900 is going on a car and the new line I have is new, but there was no nut or ferrule. I found a brass compression ferrule at the hardware store that is just a little too small, so after scraping the OD of the pipe, and honing the ID of the compression ferrule, it will just slip on.
I had to do this on another setup and used plumbing sealer around the hardware store compression ferrule and then screwed the nut on. Some excess bubbled out, that I just cleaned up. That connection turned out to last through some rigorous use, so I can recommend it.
I wonder about getting parts that are Saab OE -- I think I looked for them two years ago and couldn't find them....
