Chris,
that's for that breakdown.
vvack0matic,
you made my day. Twice!)
Here in the middle of Mordor every vehicle must have vehicle passport which you're to present for MOT inspection (every year for 3+ old babies) and which passes on to the next owner if you sell your baby. Also there's vehicle certificate which you're to always carry with your driver's licence and present to police officer should he rein you up and ask for papers.
Vehicle's identity - besides licence plates - consists of VIN #ID, chassis #ID, engine #ID (and frame #ID where applicable) and all those #ID should match each other. So if you change an engine then you must apply to a special service (consider it being sorta motoring KGB) to update all those passports and licences. Otherwise you'll be banned (and pretty heavily)
So what I was talking about in that message was a suggestion for OP to go with that NA project convertible and some 3rd party turbo engine and to marry then together. Here in the heart of demokratik kommie-land it is an option indeed, but quite time-consuming. So I was wondering how the things go on over seas.
Cheers,
Zig
P.S.
Sorry for spelling, otherwise TSN is banning me with error message NO POLITICS ON THIS SITE!
