It's a wheel bearing. needs to be replaced before it ruins the wheel hub...
Also, getting to the wheel Bearing is the "inner most" bit of work on the suspension, meaning you have opened up all of the following, upper and lower ball joints, brake rotor, pads, caliper, and the CV joint and boot, tripod bearing and boot. other than labor on the half shaft bits, all of those parts are open and can be replaced on the way back out. You do not have to remove the shock or spring. So, consider jacking up and pull the wheel off to take a look at all of the above with a flashlight to determine what you need to replace. Also, be safe and don't get under the car without a jack stand, or two, under it.
