NGK BCPR6ES (?) and all Bosch wires/rotor/cap. All brand spankin' new last weekend.
The car crapped out on me this morning on the WAY to my mechanic to have him put new belts in (it's such a DIY job but I just don't have time for it right now and they're squealing like pigs - takes away a lot of the coolness factor of the car when you're sitting in rush-hour traffic). AAA jumped it and I got it there feathering the gas at stops. Just some silly charging stuff that seems to be sorted now.
While it was there we found that the turbo bypass valve is shot. Huge vacuum leak (I don't know how I didn't notice the hissing before). It's going back first thing tomorrow for a full go-over and safety check to get it up to 100% mechanical "snuff." We tried to set timing today but figured we should wait until the BPV is replaced. He also said he was going to mess with the APC to give me "a little extra" once I told him I only run high octane gas. It's not exactly SLOW without boost right now, so I can't imagine what this hummer is going to be like working at 100%. We shall see...
