I'm trying to run some of the tests on my LH control unit. According to the Bentley book, I should be able to remove the rubber gasket from the back. However, on my car it appears that the "rubber gasket" is a solid plastic that is permanently part of the plastic shielding covering the rear of the connector. Did they stop using the "rubber gasket" at some point? Has anybody had experience with this? The only way I can think of going through with the tests is to find "pins" which fit into the connector to perform the tests.
