Gonna be changing the steering rack in my 88 SPG soon. Have Bentley, read up here etc etc etc. However, no lift so I'm going the jack stands route. Any actual dimensions as to the minimum height of the car sitting on the stands? For example: If the car was 12" from the front sub frame to the floor, am I all set, or is 16" needed? 20"?
Conventional wisdom states as high as possible. Can anyone quantify?
Thanks in Advance,
Nate
