you put a lot of useful info in there . There seems to be very little info about this switch out there (at least in regard to the c900). The info in the Bentley manual is very lacking and actually misleading , because the relevant photo makes it look like it is simple to reach in through the fender hole and pull it out (I wish). I don't know if you will get back to this thread , but if so I have a question about your post : Like I said in my post I think the airflow problem arising from a frozen evaporator could be manageable , but you mentioned another problem which sounds more serious and I want to learn more about it . You said refrigerant is supposed to completely change back to gas upon exiting the evaporator or it might damage the compressor . Do you know how cold or iced up the evaporator has to get before the refrigerant leaving it would no longer be in gas form ? Also , if it leaves the evaporator as a liquid is there much probability it will expand into a gas before it reaches the compressor ? I'm sure the answers to these questions are dependent on many variables , but guesses based on average conditions and all a/c components being to spec (except for a bypassed anti-frost switch) would be greatly appreciated . Thanks again . John .
