Well he says it shifts good, changed the fluids, but did mention it had the 2nd to 3rd sort of hard shift. My 89 had the same thing, but it also had 267K miles on it. He said the rear sway bar broke and it needed to be welded, sounds like fun. Otherwise it's supoosed to be in pretty good shape.
The only other issue that kind of makes me worry is. He said a month or so ago he was driving to work and the cr just quit. He took it to a mechanic and they told him he had no compression it was a gonner. So he took it to a Saab tech who told him all it was was a spark plug issue, and a clogged MAP sensor? And it was flooded. Well what makes me afraid of it in a way is he is no longer driving it, and driving a car that the clutch is nearly gone. If the Saab is as good as he says, why not drive it? Makes you go "hmmmmmmmm???"
