There is not much in the starting circuit, so something still isn't right... maybe a defective battery or starter solenoid, your power/ground wiring is corroded and worn out, or the ignition switch is still bad. IME, this problem is usually the switch, sometimes the solenoid.
Back in the day, Group6 used to recommend installing a Ford external starter relay to ameliorate this problem. You could also try wiring in a relay between the solenoid and the switch to try and get more voltage to the solenoid.
The cars obviously didn't do this when new, so something in your system still isn't 100%.
