camm,
That's a pretty hard thing to describe but I'll start by saying that the shift control shaft and reverse fork should be installed in the gearbox before you build the mainshaft gear stack. As you lower each pair of gears, their synchro assembly and fork on to the mainshaft you engage that fork with the selector "finger" and slotted disc. Once gears 1-4 and both of their forks are installed you install the shaft that the 1-2 and 3-4 forks slide on. With a 91-93/4 unit the process is a little different. The fork shaft goes in with the 1-2 assembly and 1-2 fork on those units. Always shift the unit through all gears several times before you call it done and roll the geartrain a bunch by inserting the clutch shaft backwards and rotating it with a pair of pliers in all gears. If there is a problem you want to find it before the unit goes into the car. Good luck
