Don't forget to do the crank seals while you've got it out. You'll need the oil pump o-ring too. Pack the oil pump with vaseline before you put it back on the motor. Best way to prime it. Also be sure that the little tic mark on the oil pump gear is facing outward.
I put every nut, bolt and piece of hardware in individual zip-lock bags and label the bags as I remove the parts. Get quart size and gallon size. I also put masking tape labels on all the electrical connectors as I go along. Makes reassembly much easier. Especially if the reinstall gets delayed for whatever reason--it happens.
Your hoist won't be balanced if you just hook onto the lift hook on the head. You need a heavy chain mounted on the lift hook and also on the belt end of the motor. I mount an extra AC bracket on the motor and hook to that. Connect it with those chain link with the screw-open/closed style of connectors. Then hook your hoist onto the center of the chain. Having a helper there to gently guide the motor out is a good idea if this is your first pull/install.
Have a couple 2x4's handy. Once you pull the motor, put them across the legs of your hoist and lower the motor onto them. then you can unbolt the transmission and use the hoist to pull the motor off of it. PULL THE DIPSTICK BEFORE YOU SEPARATE THE MOTOR. It has a tendency to get caught.
