5 threads or 1/2" of engagement. The only way to know how long they need to be is measure the thickness of the wheels at the bottom of the acorn and then add 1/2". Obviously longer is better than shorter, and unless you're using closed-end lug nuts it really doesn't matter how long they are. You can always cut them down with a hack saw or cutoff wheel or whatever.
