Running issues, and stalling.

1993 900T auto. Occasionally, when stopped at a traffic light, or even on first start-up, the car seems to want to go. The tach blips and the engine has rhythmic revving. This will happen at one traffic light, and then not the next. Happens sometimes on start-up, but most times will not. Lately the car has developed a stalling on decelerating issue. Sometimes when the fan kicks on when stopped in traffic the tach will plunge and the car will stall.

This might be a couple issues. I'm thinking that my bypass valve may not be re-seating correctly sometimes which is causing the occasional surging. I plan to replace that this weekend and clean the throttle plate too.

Connection at hall sensor is rock solid, but could hall sensor itself be failing? Looking for any possible cause of the car stalling on deceleration and fan start-up.
