Hey guys, I've combed through the boards trying to find more things to try, but no good. This is a 1991 900 SE that I purchased recently. Top is ripped up, so I'll be replacing that soon. But first, figured I would try to trouble shoot the inoperative motor.

So the simple things are apparently good. Fuses and relays are all in tact, ebrake is on and the switch is not stuck, roof switch is good, plenty of fluid in the res, pump connections are fine, no rust or water in the floor by the battery (it was kept covered in a dry climate). When I press the button, you can hear the relays click, but no sound from the pump motor, and no movement. I lost my multimeter, so when I find that I can figure out if power is getting to the motor, but it looks like the motor is where the problem is unless I'm mistaken.

So the next step I was considering is taking the motor out to check it. But I also can't figure out how to get it out and if removing it requires a fluid drain?

Any other simple things to check?
