Odd running solved

A while ago I posted some odd running issues; intermittent idle surging, and occasional stalling on deceleration. I replaced my bypass valve and voltage regulator a few days ago and so far, that seem to have done the trick. Thanks for the VR suggestion Cmyles, the one I pulled had extremely worn brushes.
BTW, for anyone who is replacing a VR, replace the philips screws with hex-head ones. It makes it so much easier to remount. Not much room in there for a screwdriver. Even with my mini ratchet with philips tip it was tough going. I even bought extra to use on the alt's I have on the shelf.
