Thanks, I'm not all that familiar with CV's so I went and looked at a '91 SPG parts car I have in storage and both of it's sleeves are "still soft and pliable" like yours! The CV ones are evidently made from a completely different material than the hatch models where the sleeves have an S shape and a hard material that's prone to cracking! The CV ones being straight are probably just a soft extruded material of some kind. I'll try them out in my 3 door and see how they look and fit?
