92 900T, ~200K.
I've got a nice rhythmic knocking on the passenger side...I can just imagine the grinding metal.
Is it worth replacing just the outer CV, or do I buy a whole axle? Eeuroparts has the whole she-bang for less than the outer CV...how does that even make sense? I know there have been fitment (length) issues reported when people buy the whole thing.
IF I replace just the outer CV, What is involved? I know there's a C-clip, but I have never rebuilt an axle. Please guide me to a detailed SOP, or describe. THanks guys.
