Had to remove the engine and trans from my 91 900 to fix accident damage and repair the beginnings of drive axle tunnel rust.
While I have this unprecedented access, what else would you take the opportunity to do? Control arm bushings? Rack and pinion? What else?
I appreciate your suggestions.
p.s. Has anyone developed a method for overcoming the design flaw that is the control arm tunnels? Like rubber boots on each side of the tunnel that seal it from debris and hug the CV shafts?
