We worked through this once before with the handbrake issue regarding removing the front e brake and converting it to the rear. You have to have the later model handbrake, and the bracket to mount the cables to. Fab work is required along with welding so you best be prepared for that. It isn't plug and play any way you look at it. It is a monster of a task particularly if the bolts/nuts are rusty, etc.
Having said that, I'll have to do this to a car in the near future :-(
