Thanks. This is the motor in my Comm Ed (at least it was before I cracked a piston--it's out for a rebuild right now). You can see that the heat shield is yellowed. I just painted that with regular POR-15, not the manifold paint. It was beautiful bright silver until a week of heat cycles. That's why now I use the POR-15 manifold paint as a base and daub on the high-temp silver to brighten it now. It holds up real well. I painted my battery heat shield the same way.
