'90 SPG that I have posted about a few times in the last couple of months. 220k miles, incredible condition... except for one thing. She came with red top injectors and ran too rich. I purchased a Jak Stoll chip and everything evened out just dandy. For like one day. Then it started dying whenever I would push in the clutch pedal after the first boost of the day. For the rest of the day, the RPMs would drop right off and stall.
Since then I have replaced all vacuum lines, intercooler hoses and couplers, intercooler, plugged all leaks (even fabbed a vacuum leak tester), replaced AMM, AIC, BOV, ECU, PCV, NTC, APC, APC selinoid, FPR, pass motor mount, distributor, distributor wire connector, 02 sensor, spark plugs, cap, rotor, wires, thick hidden vacuum hose off the lower PCV outlet, air filter, injectors, all intake manifold grommets, set base boost, timed, checked compression, cleaned all grounds, changed all fluids, and STILL had the problem and it kept getting progressively worse. Finally, it got to the point that the car would shudder and jump when trying to accelerate. Finally brought it all back to stock - injectors, FPR, APC, ECU and chip. Thinking that maybe this would solve the problem. The idle leveled right out and it no longer stalls, but no change in the jumpy shuddering acceleration.
Now I'm out of ideas. Anybody have any advice?
