It's true, spark/fuel/air... I keep thinking ignition system but anything that acts differently cool or after sitting could be an issue...
The fuel pump is fairly new, but I have no idea how old the filter is - maybe it's starting to get dirty enough to affect fuel pressure a little and I just haven't experienced the more typical clogged fuel filter symptoms yet... I had the pump swapped by my indy a couple years ago and I'll need to check my records to see what other parts I was billed for... if not, I'll swap the filter and will look over the rest of the fuel system at the same time...
This car is pretty low mileage, but the engine's had a bit of a rough existence and has been apart and machined twice already - it suffered from the typical 2.1L HG corrosion problem when I got it and then a few years after that hg job, we burnt an exhaust valve on the highway...
