Had to backtrack your photos to find the motor in question, just a tip first(u need to cook that turkey before you eat it) and no I`m not talking about the one puffing the pipe. :)

That check valve is supposed to only let air into the intake manifold and not return to the valve cover. The turbo unit will build psi sending it to the intake manifold to the valves then to the pistons where its combusted and then sent through the valves and out the exhaust. That check valve stops the built psi going into the valve cover, if it does the valve cover gasket can blow.

About the oil, everything on top of the pistons (valve's, head, intake manifold, intercooler, turbo unit, spark plugs, vacuum lines is separate from the bottom of the motor (crankshaft, piston rods, transmission, and so forth if you are having a problem with something on the top part of the motor one wouldn't try fixing the transmission to repair the problem. The dipstick tube is apart of the bottom half of the motor, any check valve you install on the top of the motor will not fix the problem of oil shooting out the tube.

I`m am a little unclear of where the oil is coming from, your mentioning the dipstick tube and then mention the underside of the car is like an oil slick,. the dipstick tube is just that a tube, pushed onto a metal flange that screws into the oil pan, might want to check at the bottom of the dipstick tube where it meets the oil pan, perhaps the plastic tube is cracked right where its pushed onto the flange, creating a clear opening for the oil to escape out of the oil pan to the underside of the car.

How would the oil shoot out the dipstick hole is puzzling but I`d just chalk it up to the motor is running. If you don't take the dipstick out of the tube while its running dose oil still try to escape?

Worst case scenario is' your LPT isn't an LPT and infact its a High output turbo which blew the piston rings and now the psi from the turbo doesn't get combusted but instead slips by the piston rings just before piston is getting ready to combust the fuel/psi mix and its creating elevated psi in the crankcase and once its there the only way it can escape is using the dipstick tube to vent the psi carrying oil along with it.
