I'd like to hear how folks have fixed rear shock towers that rusted and busted through.
I have a replacement stamping from Klokkerholm but it is not a straight forward replacement. Would take some additional forming of the part and reenforcement to make it usable. And good welding skills!
I actually have two cars that need this repair. One is so bad that a replacement from a parts car seems the only option. The other is not as bad and I am looking to hear how you guys have fixed this. I know in minor cases, you can weld a big washer to the shock tower but there is not enough good metal left for this to be an option.
