I installed a Chinese windshield in my daily driver about 4 months ago and it's just fine. It's been hit hard a few times with stones thrown by truck tires and not even a little scratch. I'm always very skeptical of Chinese parts but many, many years ago (when I was a kid) most Americans were skeptical of Japanese stuff and look where that went. Making glass and windshields isn't rocket science of course so it really just comes down to a matter of whether they WANT to do it right and nowadays that's a pretty low hurdle for any Chinese profit making enterprise.
