Unfortunately, both those sites, Rock and the warehouse outfit are only listing what Cardone tells them. And I can tell you from very disappointing recent trials that Cardone is lying about what they can do. I had a booster send through NAPA as Cardone won't deal with the public. There is a reason for that....we would go there in person, and break the counter with the booster -- the car parts supply houses don't care ... but if a retail customer came in and was treated that way, the police would be called.
So, here is the whole story - I sent a booster through NAPA to Cardone. They sat on it for a couple of days, while the NAPA guys were "coordinating" with them. I was on the sideline, just waiting patiently for info back as to when it was going to be rebuilt == then, without warning, Cardone sent it back to NAPA with no indication of why or what part wasn't available or any info whatsoever about the reason for the return.
In the meantime, I sent another one to an outfit in California where Centric sends their units. I'm still waiting for it to come back as they delayed for several days, and then shipped it UPS so it is now marinating in a warehouse waiting for the next truck to move it east.
So, if you find a "listing" for one, I can just about promise you that it doesn't exist, and now my last hope is the outfit in California. It is due in next Thursday.....I have never in my life been so jerked around by the parts supply business.
I'm beginning to like the idea of just using a 1988 booster and master, then just change the lines/fittings. But, I think there is exactly the same problemo as the 1985 vintage. Oh well, should take a trip to Cuba to see how they do it there......
