I've seen a couple aft leak right away. The 2 I've seen in hand are a noticeably sloppier fit than OE. Seems like a problem waiting to happen. I've rebuilt at least 20 OE without a problem. The surfaces that contact the o-rings have to be very smooth. I grease the innards with silicone grease. I use a small pick to slide the o-rings into the sliding piston. Don't know if that matters but I think it's better than just rolling them into the groove. If you roll them they could be starting life with some built in twisting forces that could allow the o-ring to roll on you during operation.
