90T new radiator, thermostat, sender. Bled the burp valve. Just got the car on the road so only totaled 100 miles on the car. Runs great. Boosts into the red. Water pump not that old. Once warmed up the gauge runs about 80%. Fans come on just before it hits the red peg. Fans run for a short time and gauge drops to 80% and they shut off. When it's hot and I loosen the cap I get a gentle pftz. So I don't think the car is overheating. Have changed the sender twice. Just put in another instrument cluster and it's the same on that gauge. On both clusters I tightened the 7mm nuts next to the gauge. This morning before I ran the car I disconnected the yellow sender wire and checked the ohms. Compared it with my 89T that runs a normal gauge @ 30%. The ohms on the wire to ground and the sender to ground was the same on both cars. Any ideas?
