The leaking problem is most likely the accumlator. The hard start problem is probably (but not definitely) caused by a bad acculator also. Would certainly start with the accumlator first.
Yes, it's a PITA without a lift and more so if things are rusted together.
EPC says saab part number is 7525181. I believe the bosch number is "0 438 170 047". There may be some vintage VW accumlators that will fit too. If you search for "parts place volkswagon" they have an accumlator listed but I don't know the Bosch number. They may also have used ones.
