Landy,
I heard your story about your fuel pump but had nothing to say since I haven't ever gone there on either Flop or Valkyrie (and that kinda scares me because nothing lasts foreva and Mordor isn't that great place to source C900 parts and I don't know if Valkyrie's pump is 6mm version or 8mm or 10mm or whatever and I just have zero practical knowledge how to disassemble fuel pump unit; in short - that all is a tad scary). But I love the idea of a steam-powered car! Know why? It can be nuked up! And a nuke is a cool thing on its own. There're a few things here under the moon which are cool just on their own like the rotary internal combustion (Wankel) engine or the halogen cycle (used in some incandescent lights) or the planetary gear drive - and the nuke is among them. Some say that either a democraticc or a mordor licence is required to nuke it, but I'm sure we can think out some workaround on that.
As for the same - or not - latitude idea, see the photo below. Not that I shot that or helped to make that shot or post-processed that shot - I just snatched it off some mordor website. It's a mordor thing: you need it, you find it, you use it. If you're a well-bred fella, you thank them, otherwise you don't. And you move on.

Rich,
I know you don't really care - and that's ok, it's just like some Mordor citizen thinking about the difference between a TX redneck and a NM hilliboy - but since the year of 1991 Odessa belongs to another Mordor, a smaller one located a tad below and to the left on the map. Some name it Ukraine, some name it Mahlorossia (literally: Small Russia). It is the place where mordor state system had begun if we look back to the old days of IX century or such. But despite the fact that we share common roots and a huge piece of history and culture, it is de jure (and slightly de facto) another Mordor and - fwiw - we (the Small Mordor and my Mordor... which... well, which is the Great Mordor if we dig that deep) have been trolling each other for a long time. Our relations can be described like... US-EN + US-MX + US-IL (yankee-judes) relations mixed up, shaken but not stirred. With a red Mordor icing on the top to portray the slavic peculiarity. So a trip to Odessa isn't that simple like packing baggage and booking some hotel there on the Black sea. Well, actually it is that simple - Mordor (Great Mordor) citizens doen't need any visa to visit that Little Mordor - but you've got to set yourself up mentally. It's like a democraticc elf going to visit some Egypt: nothing special actually, but you kinda frown upon each other, don't you? Most of arabs do especially when they know you're the elf (that's why all the elfs there in Egypt say they're canucks or brits; the exact choice whether to pick up one or the other mask mostly depends on the one's accent). So, Welcome To Sochi, The Hoster of 2014 Olympic Games! (here my smile goes... well... it is a rather strained smile, if honestly - here in Mordor some renegades don't like the idea of Sochi'14 and believe that it'd be much better to spend all those funds on roads, medicine and other things they find being of more importance)
But if you don't play all those politic games and mimics, you just pack it up, take off and in a few hours later land either in Cairo/Alexandria or in Kiev/Odessa and have a good time.

Zig
