Just to clarify, the bearings for the inner drivers don't have anything to do with it. It's the driver cups themselves, the things that stick out of the transmission, in which the axles sit. The tripod bearing is part of the axle that sits inside the cup, this will get damaged along with the inner driver cups. The cups may not have been changed with the transmission job, but this is fine as long as they are not worn. They only get worn when they run out of good grease, either by burning off (exhaust runs very close to right hand inner driver) or by a leak in the boot. As I said, the best way to check the inner drivers is to see if the vibration is only under power. Another test is to grip the axle with your hand and try to move it up and down in relation to the inner driver cup. Any play indicates a worn inner driver.

The bearing noise could happen every rotation, or could happen every few rotations. Driver noise could too. I would rely more on the behavior of the noise when turning versus when accelerating than I would on math related to car's speed.

In any case, the outer CV joint sounds the least likely. These cars' OEM CV joints are quite bombproof. With only a little slit in the boot and the grease looking so fresh, I'm betting no dirt contamination has occurred yet anyway.
