Thanks Mark. Your comments confirm where I had got to in my research in terms of being able to "copy" keys ( any locksmith but imperfections of key being copied are copied) versus produce new " originals" ( requires codes and who has these nowadays?). As far as blank keys go, I found many options ,with or without plastic heads. I suppose what remains is whether the door and trunk locks can be re-keyed by any locksmith ( existing locks retained) to match the new keys provided with the new ignition cylinder.
