You'll have to wire in the plug to your motor harness to use the later models, n/a motors don't have a advance, if you found a n/a car with a diss with an advance someone stuck it on there from a turbo car. No the turbo motor won't run without an advance that's mounted onto the diss. One just can't have a advance ripped off a turbo diss. And have it flopping around with a n/a diss installed and expecting it to run. Rebuilding it takes more time and unnecessary spent energy than to just swap it out with a used one.
