You can check the O2 sensor using a voltmeter with the motor running. The voltage reading should be always fluctuating and correcting. When you remove a vacuum line it should go to one end of the voltage range and when you remove the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line, it should go to the opposite end of the voltage range. My last CEL problem turned out to be a bad O2 sensor that was stuck on one voltage reading. This is the first O2 sensor I have ever changed in over 1 million miles of driving a Saab.
