Hello,
My 93 S's stock radio is acting in an odd manner. About a month ago I took out the battery, to do some semi-major work on the car. This naturally cut the power to the radio/cassette deck. After the job, I put everything back and the radio asked for the code. Not having the code, I took a few jabs at it and let it go once I realized the futility in guessing. A few days later I found the correct code and I am unable to enter it into the radio. I held the button used to clear the code, but nothing happens. In fact, I took out the radio for at least half an hour, hoping the lack of power would reset it. What is the most odd is that once I turn the radio on, the screen slowly dims on, and displays the frozen code. Is there a reset button on the back of this thing? Or is the unit toast?
