Zig The car starts and runs fine. The tach needle just dosnt move. I had a similar problem on an old 76 Bmw where the instrument cluster has those plastic like "Mylar"? sheets with the copper tape(not sure what it's called) making the connections instead of actual wiring.
I wonder if that is the problem on the Saab? I have tried wiggling connections behind the cluster with no luck. Not much room back there. Maybe I should just swap in a different cluster if I can find one? I suppose I have to pull the steering wheel to do that? Karl
